OK I have missed posting on here for a few days and I’ll tell you a little about myself to explain why. I live near Chicago in NorthWest Indiana and last week we had an unbelievable electrical storm. I was actually driving home with a couple of friends in that storm; coming from a soccer meeting about 10 minutes from my home. It took 40 minutes to make that 10 minute drive. The heavy part of the storm had passed and it was just raining at that time but the damage was devastating. There were so many trees down that we had to go several miles out of our way just to get to the road that led us home.
Here’s a video from the one of the news stations about one of my clients barns - cbs2chicago.com/video/?id=34897@wbbm.dayport.com
The damage was extreme and my thoughts and prayers are with Beth as she tries to rebuild her business.
Back to me-
When I had finally arrived home I found the electricity had gone out. It did not return until almost 24 hours later. Once it came back on I found out that our internet access was down. The next day I discovered that internet access was back up but my router had been zapped during the electric storm, so my computers which are in another room could not be connected. It took a couple of days for me to be able to actually go and purchase a router because my schedule was so busy, cleaning up after the storm (we had 3 inches of water in our basement) and seeing clients and of course my sons soccer practices (I am coaching).
So after checking over 300 emails and finishing the clean up, I am back in business and will be posting about horse health issues soon.
